To ensure the best ownership experience, ESU provides a limited warranty for all new vehicles purchased through authorized ESU sales channels.
This warranty policy applies to ESU electric dirt bikes, electric bicycles, electric go-karts, electric tricycles, and official ESU accessories.
Please read the user manual carefully before operating your vehicle and follow all maintenance and safety instructions.
1. Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty applies to:
- New ESU products purchased through the official ESU website or authorized dealers
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use
- Warranty claims submitted within the specified warranty period
The warranty period begins on the original purchase date.
2. Warranty Periods
Frame Warranty
Frame Structure: 2 Years
ESU provides a 2-year limited warranty for the original frame and structural components, including:
- Main frame
- Subframe
- Swingarm
- Factory-welded structural parts
Not covered:
- Cosmetic scratches
- Paint damage
- Stickers and decals
- Surface corrosion caused by improper use
- Damage from accidents or impacts
Motor System Warranty
Motor & Drive System: 1 Years
Coverage includes:
- Motor assembly
- Controller
- Throttle
- Wiring harness
- ECU/electronic control systems
- Torque sensors
- Display/dashboard system
Battery Warranty
Lithium Battery: 2 Years or 300 Full Charge Cycles
(whichever comes first)
Under normal operating conditions, ESU batteries are warranted to maintain at least 75% of their original capacity during the warranty period.
The following situations are not covered:
- Improper storage with depleted battery
- Water damage
- Impact damage
- Unauthorized disassembly
- Use of non-approved chargers
Suspension & Wheel Components
Suspension and Wheel Parts: 1 Year
Coverage includes:
- Hubs
- Rims
- Spokes
- Front forks
- Rear shocks (factory-installed only)
Other Components
Original ESU Parts & Accessories: 1 Year
Coverage includes:
- Lights
- Switches
- Brackets
- Factory accessories
- Original electronic components
3. What Is Not Covered
The following conditions are excluded from ESU warranty coverage:
Normal Wear and Tear
Normal wear items are not covered, including but not limited to:
- Brake pads
- Chains
- Sprockets
- Tires
- Bearings
- Grips
- Drivetrain components
Misuse or Abuse
Damage caused by the following is not covered:
- Crashes or collisions
- Drops or impacts
- Aggressive riding
- Overloading
- Water submersion
- Racing or competition use
- Stunt riding
- Commercial rental use
Unauthorized Modifications
Warranty will be void if the product has been modified, including:
- Modified electronic systems
- Non-original high-power components
- ECU/software tuning
- Unauthorized repairs
- Installation of incompatible accessories
Improper Maintenance or Operation
Including:
- Failure to follow maintenance instructions
- Incorrect charging practices
- Long-term exposure to extreme weather
- Improper storage conditions
- Use of incompatible power sources
4. Shipping Damage Claims
If your product arrives damaged during shipping, please contact ESU within 7 days of delivery and provide:
- Photos of the packaging
- Photos of the damaged area
- Videos if available
- Shipping and delivery information
Claims submitted after the reporting period may not be accepted.
5. Warranty Claim Process
To submit a warranty claim, please provide:
- Proof of purchase
- Vehicle serial number (VIN/frame number)
- Photos or videos of the issue
- A detailed description of the problem
Warranty requests may be submitted through:
- Official ESU website
- Authorized ESU dealers
- Official customer support email
After inspection and approval, ESU may choose to:
- Repair the product
- Replace defective parts
- Provide replacement components
- Replace the product with an equivalent model
6. Limitation of Liability
ESU shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or incidental damages
- Commercial losses
- Personal injury or property damage arising from misuse
- Compensation exceeding the original purchase price
Some regions may not allow certain limitations, so parts of this policy may not apply to you.
7. Additional Terms
- This warranty applies only to the original purchaser
- Second-hand or transferred products may not qualify for full warranty coverage
- ESU reserves the right to interpret and update this warranty policy
- Certain models may include additional warranty terms
